Howdy- For all of you looking for a fun filled weekend and a late winter/early spring training ride get on board for the Wheels of Fire Century (25-45-68-101 are your choices) down at beautiful Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga. Lots of activities planned and the ride is a fund raiser for Harris County Volunteer Fire Dept.
I have a ride entry form if you need one. You can call Callaway (1-800-225-5292) and ask for the Wheels of Fire Package. I'm taking 2 of the women of Way and myself and room and breakfast (full buffet) is $134.00 (less for smaller parties). If you have ever been to Callaway you know it's a beautiful place with lots to see and do before and after the ride (very nature oriented activities) Checkout their website at www.callawaygardens.com
The ride is a very scenic one going through FDR State Park and Warm Springs, GA (Little White House) along with several other small towns and countryside. Is the ride hilly? Just the Century with 6900 ft. of climbing, other routes are rolling.

Well 4 of us are headed to this ride on Sat. I will post a report on our return.
