Hola Amigos y Amigas!
Sorry for the late return, but the A.T. kicked me in the **** and left my knees horrific squeakin' joints of pure pain and uncalled-for suffering. Aaaaah, what are ya goin' to do? (Some studies suggest beer is good for such inflammation...)
Anyway, I'll be riding from Chilangos (the best Mexican restaurant in the 'Boro, until I find another) at 10-ish a.m. this Saturday, Jan. 12 (Chilangos is the former Harvey Washbangers in the Food Lion Plaza on Hwy. 96, across from the new Krogers and Belle Air Baptist at the 96-Rutherford Blvd intersection). As many of you know, the DB rides go 20-30 miles, and return to the restaurant for lunch and adult beverages....all in all, the perfect Saturday kick-off!
All are welcome, and we'll probably do the Lascassas-Milton-somewhere ride. Nobody will be left behind.

PS. Some of you might notice that Comrade Cummins' spandex are a little tighter than usual (and gosh, a little stretching sure lets the air into the "batting cage", brrr!). Suffice it to say that Comrade Cummins has been doing massive amounts of Olympic-style lifting this winter (and downing similar massive amounts of vitamin-laden hops, malt and barley concoctions - just for the muscles, of course). Remember, it's rude to point.

Not sure I'll make this Saturday's ride...trying to cook up something from Beechgrove. But maybe next week. Or if we finish up in time, at least join you for after ride festivities!

Conrad Cummins! Since you are leaving from my back door, so to speak, I just might join you! My wife might argue though that the best mexican eatem up joint is really located on Broad st, just across from Dodges fill'n station. I believe it is called Alcapulco or some non american greengo name. The best margaritas in town. Ha! My wife wont be riding, but she may be waiting to eat as she has beans somewhere in her genes! And by the way, my name is still Steve! Just in case you were wundrun....peace
Hola Steve! Your wife's fave is close to my heart as well - I like both C and A for their fish dishes, which are both great! A is my dual choice for best Mex in the 'Boro! You know, if we get enough critical mass, we might be able to wrangle some discounts from restaurants interested in hosting DB rides. Cheap beer and wings/tamales, my friend!
