I was thinking about buying a trainer, i know there are several different types, so can anyone give me their views on these things. I will be using a hybird bike so i will need a trainer that a hybird will fit on

You can go to roadbikereview.com and see the reviews on trainers and more cycling stuff from hundreds of people.From my experience, most of the trainers require the standard skewer (quick release), which should be on your bike, if not you can buy it at the local bike shop; and most of the trainers are suitable for a large variety of the bikes (except for my track bike, which is used on velodromes ). I like my 1UpUSA trainer, it's quiet, which is really important when you train at 5AM in a morning; or want to watch TV or similar type of activities.
