Driving home through Lascassas this evening, there was a back up of cars + official-type casr (police, ambulance, etc.). The fellow ahead of me said a bicyclist had been hurt. I don't know anything else... this was around 6pm.

I was in the bike shop friday and another customer was in and said a friend of his had had an accident on barlow. He is a new rider and was with his son who was in front of him when he heard the crash. No one really knows what happened but the suspicion is that he just got his front wheel off the road and crashed.
Sounds like a broken colarbone with bumps and bruises.
He told me his name but I am really not sure. I do think he did spend some time in the hospital because of a head bump with loss of memory.

I've seen a father/son (I think) combo climbing Spain Hill - slowly, but don't we all?? - in the past.. they're in upper & lower middle age....
