I am looking for a road bike to use while I am visiting my mom in M'boro. I'd love to buy an inexpensive one I could leave at her house and use during visits.

My current ride (in CA) is a Trek 5000, 56 cm carbon frame, full ultegra. I need a frame at or near that size and I need 30 inches between the center of the crank and the top of the seat, measured along the angle of the seatpost. I am OK with downtube shifters as I still have an 80s peugeot that I like to ride.

Anyone have a decent inexpensive ride to sell or tips on renting? I'll be there July 30 to about Aug 9.
