Good morning everyone. I just wanted to thank all you guys who came out to Cannon County for the first ever "Crankin" yesterday. Also I especially wanted to thank the Schmidts and the Lovetts who were instrumental behind the scenes in helping me with the planning and logistics of hosting a ride.

The "non-cycling" volunteers were super impressed with the cycling crowd. Several of them made comments about how nice and appreciative you were. And two of them asked about getting into cycling! All the volunteers want to host the ride again and make it bigger.

Bill, that was a nice ride, and the supporting people were great! One of them remarked to me how hard we riders were working, I said that they were doing the work - we were paying a mere 20 dollars (a bargain) to play in their back yard and get fed, too.

I hope this helps with the playground.

Great route Bill!! and GREAT JOB!! Your rest stops were well stocked and the workers were unbelievably pleasant!! Congrats on all that hard work paying off so beautifully. I know the Slovett's will be back next year!!

Great ride and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Cannon County. Thanks for droppin' that staple
along the road so I didn't come in last.

The ladies at registration and the other volunteers did a great job. The route was well marked and had something for everyone. I appreciated the lasagna.

Also, good job clearing out the dogs. I did not see nearly as many as I expected. Maybe they were just tired from chasing the people up front.

The ride was good, but the "raslin" was great. Buzz Dupp was impressive.
