I just learned about a weekend mtn bike festival and race in Fayetteville. One of the Nashville Mountain Bike Team guys told me about it. It's next weekend, April 27-28 with a 12-hour race on Sat. This is a new private trail (I haven't found anyone else that knows of it) and they're going to have 150+ riders including some nationally ranked folks like Tinker Juarez. Huge prize purses and loads of giveaway frames, gear and schwag. OS is sponsoring them among many other national brand products.

They tell me there is a citizen's ride/race at noon that's not listed on the website if you'd just like to go see the trail. Here's the webdress http://www.dirtsweatandgears.com/

I wonder if our nationally ranked "AB" is doing this race? Sounds like fun but I will be in Florida having fun doing a 400k brevet next weekend. Anyone care to join me?
