Starter Road bike

I am just getting in the sport and I dong want to spend 700 - 2500 on a bike untill I know I am going to like the sport. I went shopping on the 14th and man did I get sticker shock! Looking at them did make my want one in the worst kind of way. I need at least a 56-58 inch frame
do you have one in your shed that could be bought for......150 or 200....? ok you can stop laughing
Thanks

Re: Starter Road bike

First of all, of course you are going to like the sport. Second, have you asked to see if MOAB has any used bikes? Sometimes you can get a great deal and then move up later. You may also be able to rent a bike to try some weekend.

Keep checking the club's classified section to see if the right bike appears.

Re: Re: Starter Road bike

Also, check for a classified ads section on other club websites.

I found my first bike in the classifieds at the Harpeth Bicycle Club site.

Here's an earlier post from Mike Taglio for a used bike:
I'd give him a call to see what the size is.
Sounds like a winner if it's your size!!
