On May 2nd there was an Open meeting for you all to come and give your views on the two day event and anything else you wished to talk about.
We as committee members, hear very often that you are unable to voice your opinions so this was your opportunity.
Obviously none of you have anything to say and no interest in your club as only 5 non committee members bothered to attend.
The running of this club is voluntary and remains open ONLY due to the few that DO, against the majority that DONT.
You must not sit back waiting to be asked to do things you MUST put yourself forward to offer assistance as the club relies on EVERY MEMBER.
EVERY penny that is collected either through the gate, signing on, raffle or any other means of raising money goes into the club, to make your racing day as good for you as any visiting driver.
IF it was not for the very few members who put themselves out every race day, and even during the weeks racing is not on, there would be no Concord Autograss Racing Club.
With our two day event coming up you ALL have the opportunity to make an input into the success of the weekend.
During the next few weeks we will be posting requests asking for volunteers to fulfil varying roles. Make sure you name is against an event.
THIS IS YOUR CLUB YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN INPUT INTO IT!
