My Uncle was Cpt. Eugene W. Keplinger. He died several years ago, but was mentioned in your post. I think his wife is still alive. The kids certainly are. I don't know if you have heard from any of them yet. My old computer hard drive with their contact info self-destructed but I will try to find out what they know.

We would be interested in any diary entries or photos pertaining to my uncle Gene.
