Hi all

just wondered if anyone remebered my dad. He tested the h bombs on christmas island in 1957. His name is Derek Gunter, his nick name was Cobber. He was from Wolverhampton. we have a picture of hime playing his guitar outside his tent with a sign that says 'Shangrala' on it. He passed away 13 years ago from a heart atack. But my sister passed away from cancer in 2006 aged 39. Some reserch is saying that cancers caused from the nuclear testing can skip generations, but you just dont know. I was the youngest child and dad didnt like talking about his time because of all the disease related to the testing and he knew alot of people had passed away from cancers who he searved with. I would love to chat to someone who knew my most wonderful and beautiful dad.
