Spisak missed an entire year while in Class AA because of an injury (knee maybe???). Don't know if he ever returned after the injury. Have no idea why Maners left. Maybe spending 10 summers in Pawtucket and Scranton was enough to make anyone retire to Florida. Read he is the Miami Heat's 24-second shot clock operator. Don't know for a fact that this tidbit is true.
