I just bought a Trek carbon frame (with Ultegra pedals) and am back on the road after 4 years without a bike. I've notice a pain in my inside right knee cap on my few rides so far. Is it just reminding of my age or do I need an adjustment somewhere?

Could be a lot of things but did you get a good fitting when you got the bike? If not that could be the problem. I had a lot of pain until I got mine fitted. Not to harp on fitting but it was for me an eye opening experience in riding with no pain.

It could be your seat height. It could be your cleat placement on your shoes and the pedals. Take it to MOAB and have them fit you. It's worth it.

thanks. I did some adjustment on my cleats and my saddle. I think the rest is caused by my rusty cadence/spin. Right side doing too much work. Got to get my pedal stroke smoother.
