The winds are forecast to calm down by Thursday, but it will still be cool, so I'm going with a shorter route for this week. 24 miles is the base plan, but with a very simple shortcut, it could be shortened to 20 miles if necessary.
As usual, we'll stick together or stay in groups and follow GPS cues for our route. No one will be left alone in the dark.
Your helmet, a strong headlight and good blinky tail light are required. Reflective clothing makes a real difference, and it is highly encouraged -- vests run about $15-27, leg bands are around $5.
