Motorist claims another Upper Cumberland cyclist

Avid cyclist Alan P. David of Crossville was struck and killed by a pickup truck driver on August 12 in White County. He is the second cyclist killed this year in western White County in the Burgess Falls-Old Kentucky Road area after being hit by a vehicle.
The driver came over the center line and struck Mr. David head-on. The driver was charged with aggravated vehiclular homicide after failing a field sobriety test.

So sorry to hear that. Be extra careful out there on the roads you NEVER know when a driver will make a mistake that causes YOU your life.
