Hello there! The handlebar tape that I spoke of is made by a company called LizardSkins. They offer two different thicknesses of tape... a 1.8mm standard version and a thicker 2.5mm version. The tape is definitely more expensive as compared to standard cork tape, but if you are a cyclist that rides long distances and tours, the difference in cost is worth it. LizardSkins also makes different frame protection products that are great as well. And most all of the frame protection products come in clear so it does not clash with the paint scheme of your bike.
