Joe Blow works well and you can get one for a reasonable price. You can also get repair kits for them when the seals wear out.

I also have a fancy looking Specialized pump with a dial large enough for me to read without my glasses. This was a gift from my brother and we both like the large dial. The valve seems to lock to the stem better than on the Joe Blow.

Personally, I am keeping the Specialized at home so I can keep it shiny and pretty and I am leaving the Joe Blow in the car for all of you to borrow.
