Hey Larry Tolbert

is Cooper Hollow over near Auburntown that lovely packed gravel road you love so much? Runs between hwy 96 and Auburntown Road - hwy 145??

Re: Hey Larry Tolbert

You mean the one he loves so much-Hawkins with the gravel and grates, if you miss the turn you bust both your rims and try to ride back in with a cut so big in your tire it looks like a balloon sticking out-so with walk Hawkins with the 20 4 wheelers with the deliverance team.

Re: Hey Larry Tolbert

as Larry says Adventure Always- I call it making memories that last a life time!

Re: Hey Larry Tolbert

Sorry I'm getting to the party a little late, but coon billy is correct -- it is Hawkins Hill Road. Have a lot of tandem stories from the Hawk. Had a stoker try to pass me when we got sideways (literally) flying down that gravel and trying to dodge a deer sized goat (Bildini was a witness and can attest). Also, different ride, blew a front tire to shreds on the descent and by dumb luck and some divine intervention managed not to FDGB (Jennifer can attest). Ah yes, the Hawk, what a piece of road. Did I mention the shack on the east end that's just got to be a meth lab?
