I plan on riding the century. If anyone knows the store stops on the century route please advise. Will need one about 30 and one about 70 but any variation will do. Thanks!
There's a store in Beech Grove, which we pass through at about 30 and about 70. There's also a store in Wartrace at 40, and Bell Buckle at miles 46 and 60. There's also a stop at everyone's favorite store in Readyville at mile 85, if you really need it. Lots of options.
For the shorter option, let's leave Lascassas Baptist at 9:30. I'm not so good at logistics, would someone look at Cary's route and come up with a shorter option (30-40)? Honestly if I do it, we'll be lost in the desert for 40 years.
Could someone post or email the 40 mile cue sheet to me?
I'm new to the cycling scene and will most likely get dropped in the first 10 miles. But look forward to the challenge.
Steve and I are starting at 8:30 from LBC and will loop back around to pick up the 9:30 group - then I plan to run for an hour after the ride if anyone wants to join me.
If you use the posted 100 route you can go the first 25 then turn right on Burke Hollow, this picks up about mile 75 on the 100 cue sheet. Take the loop back and it will give you around a 50 mile total route - at least half of it downhill!
here's 55 starting at 8:30 - doing 15 and then looping back around to LBC to pick up the 9:30 crowd - if we can keep a 15 mph pace. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/291714
