I don't know if you have been on RAGBRAI before, but if not here are a few suggestions. I have been on the ride several times and have used different methods of transportation. There are charter services that will transport you and your bike from the ending city to a the starting city. There is also monitored parking lots where you can safely park your car for the week at the ending city. Some of these charter services also offer transportion for your baggage from city to city along the route. They normally will set up their camp site away from the main camping area at a park or school. This has an advantage of not having to sort through the baggage area for you bags and a camp site away from the main camping area is much quieter at night.
