Ok what I want to know is what a famicom disk system is, a famicom, a super famicom and what the difference between their usa nintendo relatives is. Please reply as I am desperate for knowledge

Well a Famicom is the original NES system from Japan, and the Super Famicom is ofcourse the follow up to that, which is the Super Nintendo. The Super Famicom and the Super Nintendo are the same console, the only difference is that the Super Famicom is from Japan and has a different design, while the Super Nintendo is from North America and also sports a different design. And the games for Super Famicom are Japanese so you will need a Super Famicom in order to play them, unless you find a site that helps you mod it.
