Yesterday

What a result! We played a blinder and it was great to see a good team performance.
It's a shame after all the negative rubbish that's been chucked around on various forums about certain members of our team. Everyone has a bad game or two, but that doesn't make them bad players overnight.
One man who has had more than his fair share of cr@p written about him is Sir Francis of DUKE!! He had a class game and bossed the match from the start. I really hope those idiots who got on his back will now let him lead our team in peace. He alongside Tutu is a great pairing (with Tutu scoring a nice goal) and will stand up to anything this division has to throw at them.
Until all the plastic doubters come back, all hail the DUKE!!

Re: Yesterday

When we lined up with 4 centre backs yesterday, I though hell yeah!
Duku marshalled a great defensive display and then we scored 4 top quality goals.
This was a fantastic response to last weeks defeat and something to build upon.
Fair play to MG & Co. for making key changes and getting it right.

Re: Yesterday

Beggars the question why we did we not have this format before? Looked "interesting" on paper but worked when it mattered. 4 quality goals as well (theirs was well worked, but you can say that when you're 4-0 up!)
Great day out .Roll on Newport

Re: Yesterday

It was a little 'interesting' having 4 centre backs on the park come 3 o'clock yeasterday, but what a performance!
Newport will indeed be a huge test.

Re: Yesterday

I totally agree. Great all round performance from the
boys. it was a bit of a shame that we conceded that
late goal but if you,d have told me that we,d win 4-1
at the start of the day I,d have laughed in your face.
It was a shame that there wern,t a few more Brom there
but those of us that were certainly had a good time.
I hope Colin had a good night out at his engagement do. Good luck mate and see you all at Paddington on
Tuesday.

Re: Yesterday

Cracking result, not only have we gone away to a decent team and won comprehensively, but it's managed to shut up some of the muppets to boot; certainly looking forward to seeing the highlights come up. Also pleased for Duku as well. I think a lot of people forget that players read forums, and it would appear Duku's (understandably) been quite hurt by a few things certain people have been saying about him (the joys of facebook!). People who have been giving him grief seem to have very short memories, given how he came into his own in the play-offs last year. Yesterday was perfect way of Dooks/Goldberg giving the middle finger to the keyboard warriors, so fair.

Re: Yesterday

Well said Will. I'm only an occasonial passer-by on the forums now because reading the utter sh1te written about some of our players by anonymous no marks was getting to me. I couldn't make it to Eastleigh due to work but I would have loved to see The Duke answering his critics. Dooks (along with Bobby Bowry) dragged us up through two unbelievably tough play-off games at the end of last season, and it makes me despair to be a Bromley fan when I see how short some forum fools memories are. Let's hope this tiny handful who keep writing this cr@p have the decency to shut up and get behind the team from now on.

We are 8th.

Hi all

Eastleigh supporter here. I thought you were excellent on Saturday and certainly one of the best teams to come to the Silverlake this season

As a Reading supporter as well it was good to the legend that is super Simon Osborn still going strong

I have uploaded some images from the Eastleigh game
