Message:		Ken, The traffic stop was not for noise. The cop made that clear. He "spotted" my pipes as I rode by. So the citation is based on his perception and lack of intellegence with respect to Vance & Hines Big Radius pipes. The citation was written for violation of FL Statute 316-272(1) which states; "aftermarket exhaust systems that produces a noise level greater than original eqipment is prohibited". However, this was not a noise violation. That is my defense. The fine is $ 91.00. Thanks, Bob --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: Just to clarify the ticket was for aftermarket pipes not noise correct. Just curious what was the fine? If you deceid to fight it and the cop shows up to the court date, there is a strong case you might lose that one as the law technically states no pipes other than stock. Or pipes with the dot stamp.
