Can anyone help me please?
During the mid 50s my parents, two younger brothers and I moved into the old Station Masters House in Low Burgage leaving in the late60s when British Rail wanted to put the property up for sale. Iwould like to say thatthose years were some of the best in my life. The problem thatI have is thatnow being in my mid 50s I would like tc find out more about the Station that I lived next door to all those years ago. any help as to the track lay out position of the signal box ect would be much appreciated.Ijoined the railway as a signal man at the end of the60s for a short time and worked the Normanby Park North signal box.this was were the single line to Winteringham started.
best wishes Flyer |
