I've been sick for YEARS and the docs still can't agree on exactly what I have and how to treat it effectively. I started with lots of muscle pain and sleep problems in 1989. Got markedly worse after a got the series of 3 HepB vaccines with the addition of fever, joint pain and fatigue along with the existing muscle pain. Fibromyaglia was the first dx, then they thought RA, but I don't have the swelling. Then CFIDS was a possiblity and still is, but it wasn't until 2002 that an immunologist ran an Ebstein-Barr and found out it was quite high. He was the one that dxed Acquired Autoimmune Disease caused by the HepB vaccine.
SOoooo....your dx may take a while.....
