Hi,I am new at this, board posting,typing,being sick.Please give me time to adjust to it.I dont want to bother anyone but dont know where else to turn.The short of it is I was dx. in march02 of having a chronic sinus infection.It never cleared up right,the pain and swelling was kept under controlled by pain pills and prednisone.they did ct.scans of the sinus and said there was no longer any sign of infection.yet they kept giving me the same treatment.I changed doctors and he thought it was tn but after 6 or 8 weeks of carbamazepine and pain pills,I started to lose the sight in my left eye, now is 20/300 or something like that. I am now seeing a rheum, a nero and a retina.They seem to agree that I have vasculitis. I am now on 80mg. a day of prednisone and still have pain and swelling in my left temp. and face.I dont know why I wrote yous I guess I am afraid. untill now I was never really sick,used to work out every day for 1 hour or more. thanks for leting me whine. |
