Message:   Hi Debbie here
I had a stomach scope today and was told I have gastritis. the gstreologist told me right before they put me to sleep that i do have the Hemochromotosis gene, but I do not have the disease. I have tried to tell them that the right test weren't ordered, but I am getting no where. I am just going to go and TRY and get my GP to refer me to a competent hematologist I know about 45 miles away. I would feel more confident, since I have just have had one brother die of chromotosis and 2 more just dx.

This gastreologist that did this scope today told me he thought i had fibromyalgia--- i find that it is odd that gastrititus and fibromyalgia are autoimmune diseases. Any words of wisdom>

Thank you so much for taking a NEWBIE under your wing.
Debbie
