Hello Debbie,
I grew up always feeling ill not knowing why, finally some smart doctor did a full blood run finding my iron scores way to high. Yes then getting genetic testing and liver biopsy proving my diagnosis. Something that I found helpful do not ever take birthcontrol pills they increased my iron levels so much the doctor could not understand why they kept taking blood out but yet my iron levels where growing, She wanted to send my file off to some DR. in New York because she counld'nt understand why my levels where going up. I told her I have heard that the pill will increase your iron because it thinks it needs to store more iron vitamins ect.. for the baby. Once I got off the pill my levels stopped increasing so fast.
Most of the symptoms that you are talking about joint pain, arthritis, fatigue, do subside when you get the iron levels in control. You can live a normal life if you have a good doctor. Hope your test comes out negative! |
