My name is Elaine. My mother who is 59, just got diagnosed with Hemochromotosis. She has had many health problems her whole life. Cancer twice, heart attack, hypertension as well as a heart valve problem. I am very scared for her and for my health in the future. I have already inherited hypertension and I am only 33.
My mother is always tired. She has not yet had any blood drianed and we are hoping she will start to feel better once this has taken place. I thought that it only happened after menopause?
I do not want to be tested yet due to insurance purposes.
