Nooooo!!!DO NOT Let them give you a hysterectomy!!!! I had Endo as well and they kept having to go back to remove cysts over and over again...I had no idea about anything...just trusted my doc to do the right thing...well here I am ...Had the hysterectomy and still feel horrible and crazy, ugly and 60 lbs heavier... Finally with the appropriate lab work they finally diagnosed with Hashimotos (Which by the way has almost the exact symptoms as Menopause, endometriosis or PMS). Then, after the fact, I find out the thyroid medicines and the hormone replacement meds are known to bind with one another and now neither is working the way they should be!!! Make sure they do the appropriate lab tests....T3,T4,Reverse T3,TSH,peroxidase and thyroglobulin.3 and an antibody test BEFORE getting body parts removed. Remember, WE are the best judge of how we are feeling and we have the right to ask questions...I wish I had known that before they tore me apart.
Good luck,
Cie'
