My doctor believes I have this, but have not had a blood test to confirm it (he says it won't really change anything, it would just show us why).
When I was a child (I'm 22 now) I wasn't growing and was put on human growth hormone for 5 years. It seemed to work, even though I am only 4'11". When I was 21 I got really sick and after months of trying to figure out what was wrong I was finally diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism and addison's disease. I have been trying to cope with that, and have had many ups and downs emotionally. I go to my endo every 1-2 months and he now believes I also have Hasimoto's and I just started medication for that.
I would love to hear your story too, its so hard to have so many things wrong with me and I just would love a break from all of this. Unfortunately, I can't take a break but talking about it with other people sure would help! |
