COUNTY CHAMPS!!!!!
In years to come people will ask “Where were you when Olympia completed their FIRST double?”. Well done lads, awesome performance! Just want to thank you all for getting me another winners medal. Also: Yiendo, thanks for notching in my shirt (and continuing the offside tradition)  Parry, congratulations on your 50th goal for the club, what a time to get it! LEG-END Bailey, see I was correct, you ARE a Jekyll and Hyde (give away a penalty, then pull of a match winning safe late on).  Jas, just want to say FOUR MORE YREARS, FOUR MORE YEARS!!!  Baker, only someone with your sublime ability and vision, could score from that angle, I’m sure you meant it. Loui, 6 games without a card! Never thought I would see this day.  And Finally, Andy Trueman, you will be greatly missed, and thanks for the last few seasons.  I could easily sit here and type stuff for you all, but I’m getting a bit emotional now.

let me take this oppurtunity to be the first unolympia player to congratulate all on here for a quality season n double!!!! fairplay lads!! good luck in div3 n the twice as tough county cup...u all deserve it

Great Performance from everyone in the final, a great end to a perfect season for us. We all have worked really hard and I think the double is well deserved. Lets look forward to next season for a chance to test ourselves further and show how good we all our! Well done lads, onwards and upwards we go! P.S Good luck Andy and Jas, you will be missed! |

The fact that AC Olympia had secured the County Primary Cup was reported to the Management Committee meeting last night and I was asked to, once again, pass on the congratulations of the whole league to you and your team on your achievement. It will also be noted in the minutes that Vice Chairman John Crowther, who was in attendance at the final, reported that the manner in which your club conducted itself at Cirencester, both on and off the pitch, reflected superbly on, and brought significant credit to, the Cheltenham League so thank you very much for that also.
