Having problems adding a message to the message board
I'm really sorry if you're having problems posting. I chose Bravenet because they are one of the most widely used and mature services and are therefore most likely to have ironed out user issues. To avoid automated programs from adding thousands of unwanted messages, Bravenet sensibly added the requiremnent to copy a four digit code from a scrambled image into a box at the bottom of the message page before the posting will be accepted. Just a couple of hints to help you. Click into the box before typing. The codes are case sensitive. You have only posted the message if you return to the message board home page after pressing Post Message >> . I find that 6s, 9s 0s and Os look similar and sometimes the message doesn't get posted after code entry. This means you've enter the code incorrectly. This happens to me 30% of the time. (Old eyes)You may therefore be prompted with a second or even third code if you enter it incorrectly. If you're still struggling then please email you message to me and I'll post it or at least let me know if you are unable to add postings and we can look for another solution.

Paul, I am not having major issues, I couldn't reply from work the other day, but it seems this was either because my Explorer didn't have Java or my name wasn't entered at the top, I suspect the latter but can't be sure because I sorted both at the same time. Peter apparently had trouble the other day and his post about comps never appeared Mike |
