I have received the Vanasse records from St Bonaventure d'Upton

I have been putting together the Vanasse records from St Bonaventure which was established in 1866 and separated from St Guillaume d'Upton .
The Vanasse families who lived here are the following:

Daniel Vanasse and Elise Belisle who later went to Worcester MA.

Jean Baptiste Vanasse and Dina Dessert who later immigrated to Fall River MA and then New Bedford MA .

(Jean) Hormidas Vanasse and Cordelie Tessier who immigrated to Claremont New Hampshire .

Edouard Vanasse and Josephine Cheney .

Felix Vanasse and Virginia Brousseau who immigrated to Rhode Island .

Olivier Vanasse dit Beauvais and Elmire Beaudreault who went to Northampton MA .

Cyrille Vanasse and Marie Denoncourt .

Jacob Vanasse and Elodie Despins .

Pierre Vanasse and Emelie Moreau

Jean Baptiste Vanasse and Elise Desrosiers .

Re: I have received the Vanasse records from St Bonaventure d'Upton

Good Evening Mr. Vanasse,

I happened to stumble across this site tonight while searching the internet.

My grandmother (deceased) was a Vanasse and her family, from what I understand, originated in St. Bonaventure. My father told me that she was born in Claremont. Her name was Clemence Vanasse.

My grandmother Clemence married my grandfather Lester Goodhue and moved to Lowell, MA.

I don't know too much about the history of my family, but I wonder if she might be related to:

(Jean) Hormidas Vanasse and Cordelie Tessier who immigrated to Claremont New Hampshire

who were from Claremont, NH.

Any idea or input?

I also know that some of my relatives from Canada & Claremont were named Lacasse.

Thanks for any information.

Brian
