Bastien news
Most of the Bascombs of western Massachusetts are Vanasse Bastiens . I found the family of David Bastien and Philomene Guerin in 1900 at North Adams . Their sons Napoleon and Eugene Bascom(b) also had families in the area . They are found in Chicopee and Holyoke along with North Adams .This family was from Maskinonge .David Bascom the son of Napoleon moved to Schenectady New York along with his wife Cora and family . Also I found the family of Joseph Bascom 9 originally Bastien ) and Marie Laporte in 1900 in the Durham NH area . Their son Prime in 1910 is in Androscoggin Maine . This family was from St Guillaume Quebec . |
