malory family books
I hope this forum is still active. I am not the best navigator. I love all of the Malory characters. My favorite is Derek. He and Jeremy have all of the charm of their uncles but they also seem to have a good heart. Derek is concerned with the welfare of Kelsey in the beginning and Jeremy falls in love even before he knows that his wife is an heiress. Perhaps because (as it is mentioned)they were both "*******s" and therefore and are sympathetic to the plight of those less fortunate. I also like the way the book is written and the way it was narrated so well by Michael Page. Because he is British, he enunciates well and gives one the feel of the men in the book. There is something definitely lacking in hearing a Lindsey book read by a woman. Anyone agree? |

yes I agree totaly. But I think there should more than one person narrating the books so that each charachter has a different voice.

Multiple narrators would be great but I fear too expensive for the companies to do. Do you ever read Amanda Quick's books? |

It's funny, but even though Johanna Lindsey IS Amanda Quick, I don't like the Quick books as much...maybe because I'm totally smitten with the Malory clan, I dunno. Are the Quick books just as good? I might have to just give one a try...which one to read first?? |

I did not mean to imply that Amanda Quick is the same person as Johanna Lindsey - only that I enjoy both authors' books. It's a matter of taste, of course. I like Regency romances and mysteries along with the romances. Both authors do so but I think that they have different ways of doing so. I love the Lindsey books, and particularly the Malory series. I also love the Amanda Quick books, (pen name for Jayne Anne Krentz. What are your favorite Malory books? |

I Love all the Malory's, especially James and Tony. The two of them rolled into one man would be all the heaven I'll ever need. LOL

James and Tony together might be too much for anyone to handle, but it would certainly be fun trying. I was also drawn to Warren. He was certainly a challenge. |

Me too!!! We seem to have the same taste in men. Warren is actually my second choice after James. COOL

Yes, we do seem to have the same taste in men. It's not necessary a good thing to like men like them, but it sure is exciting. |
