Re: Favorite Malory novel

I have to admit...I just finished reading "A Loving Scoundrel" so my answer now is "A Loving Scoundrel" If you would have asked me that question after I just finished reading any of the other 3 it would have been them. I LOVE the Malory novels!!!! I'ved read them all out of order though. Can any one put them in order from 1st to last? I'd like to gather all of them and read them in order.

My favorite Malory novel has to be the latest one ... A LOVING SCOUNDREL. I simply adore it!! I think it would make the best movie...but it wasn't on the list to vote for

Re: my fab would be....

My favorite Malory book (though I haven't read all of them) is Gentle Rouge featuring James and Georgie Malory. Their story is actually the second Malory book I have read.

The dialogue is funny and refreshing. My favorite 'private joke' is how Georgie gets nauseaous when she gets near James and his cure for it.

The other reason I like this book is the fact that BOTH characters are strong and likeable. Compared to the other ones I have read, James and George are beliveable and someone I wouldn't mind having as a friend, brother, sister, etc.

Here is my comparison with the other books I have read, in order of reading:
Say You Love Me (Derek and Kelsey):
I know that Kelsey had to go through the brothel thing in order for the story to go through, but I just didn't think her character was as strong as the other Malory characters. I didn't like the hint of S&M in the plot. Derek was okay, but not as strong (and I don't mean physically) as James, Nicholas or Anthony. There just didn't seem to be that 'spark' between these two. Their love seems 'tame' in comparison to James/George, Regina/Nicholas or Roslyn/Anthony.

Love Only Once (Regina and Nicholas):
I love Regina...she is so strong and resourceful. I liked Nicholas until I got to the part where he left her for months!!! They are both strong characters, in the same vein as Georgie and James, but I just didn't like how Nicholas left her and to me, she just forgave him too easily!

Tender Rebel (Anthony and Roslyn):
My second favorite Malory book and couple. Again, I love the characterization of both Anthony and Roslyn....strong, stubborn, resourceful, unafraid!! If it weren't for the fact that I had read Gentle Rogue before, this might be my favorite.
