I can't believe it!!!!! Boulder 3-31
I just moved to Denver and saw the Hells Belles ad. I thought it would be a cute novelty, but it turned out to be a rock solid, loud, perfect AC/DC concert experience. The fox theater was packed and no one left until after the second encore, everyone had a blast and the music could not have sounded better. This is not your ordinary tribute band, these girls have lots of talent... Thanks Hells Belles, we all had a blast, I was the guy raising his his fist and yelling,(yea that was me). I can't imagine this band without Jamie. I became mesmerized when you played Hell Bells. Down Payment Blues was a show stopper, and then Shoot To Thrill, **** what a great show!!! My one request is to hear Given The Dog a Bone, as good as you guys are with a driving rhythm that song would be incredible...not to mention watching Jamie sing the lyrics, mmmm. When Neutral Boy came out I took notice of the bass player right away, which is a bit unusual, but she stood out for some reason...Then she came out with the Belles and lit it up. And of course Adrian is carrying around Angus' soul, everyone fits perfectly into the line up. It was such a great time, Thanks. I'll never miss another Hells Belles show!!! BTW....I've seen AC/DC many times...I know this show was better than when I saw the on the Fly on the Wall tour, I think Malcolm was absent, and they had a fill in, if I had my choice to see that show again or the Belles show last night I'd rather see the Belles. |
