dd form 2708 & police questioning? What the heck? |

Hey guys, what the heck is a dd from 2708, and when is it used? MPs showed up at my pals door, and asked him to come down to the mp station to answer some questions, he was never arrested, but was read his rights. He REFUSED to answer any questions, and was never told by anyone what the "charges" were, and was never told he was under arrest, when read his rights, he refused to give any comments, and 5 minutes later was released with a dd form 2708 and they said they would contact him later.... its been almost a month, he has no idea what the "charges" are listed in the offense column, and commited no such crime. In fact, he had no idea why they even came to his home!
Was this a screw up, or are we missing something here? It been almost 3 weeks since they showed up at his door, nothing in mail and no one else has contacted him.... Hes a parachute rigger, but is RETIRED from army....
Again, hes confused and so am I!
