i also have a 4 month old teacup chi, she has watery eyes mainly when her eyes are dry. i was also told by the breeder that this is a trait they have to keep eyes moist. he said that if it gets severe or has a color to it take her to the vet as she may have gotten dust or something else in her eyes and may need meds. however, i would contact the local vet and check to be safe or look up health traits for the chi.
