i recently purchased a chuahua from a petstore, though the experience was a dreaded one after rescuing dachunds for three years, but my husband and i fell inlove with this little guy in a pet store and asked tobe called if he was still there after christmas. low and behold we recieved a phone call stating they had clearenced him and would be liquidating the remaining pet inventory with devistation at the comment my husband and i drove 200 miles the next morning to pick him up. though we have never had a dog in our bed and have struggled in the past with some of our rescues, this little guy has become so attached at being able to interact with our family and being able to be apart of bed time, he doesnt even eat unless my husband or iare in the room. he is not bigger than a shoe and can barely jump high enough to get on the stool next to our bed got get on the bed. But he curls right in at bed time, tucks in under the blankets and doesnt want to move. he has been the easiest tohouse train and is more attentive to us and more eager to please than any pet ive ever had. I dont feel there is anything wrong with letting these little guys sleep on the bed, though they are small enough andsuch snugglers that they will tuck right in with you. they are such a loving breed. i am truely amazed at how attentive they can be. i would recomend this breed to just about anyone, i have six children and though they seem to be partial to thier owners this little one seems to enjoy having many snuggle buddies to curl up with. |
