I am so sorry for your loss! We too bought from this breeder. Our little girl will be 2 this month - luckily as she had a very rocky start. She came infested with fleas, worms, developed severe mange, a depressed immune system and had severe allergies to all shots (of which we were not informed leading me to believe they never vaccinated her.) Our vet said much of this related to her genetics.
Thankfully she survived but it cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills. And all vaccines she receives must be separate and given after doses of benedryl to avoid reactions.
We contacted them not expecting anything but to let them know that the breeding stock used for our pup should probably be discontinued. They did not respond and I am sure are continuing to mill out those little pups.
They are good at duping you and making you feel like they are running a reputable program. I can't tell you how much we love our little girl but find another breeder to avoid the potential heartbreak and expensive emergency vet visits. |
