family of David M. Wellman
Looking for info on the family of David M. Wellman found in the 1880 census living in Port Austin. Especially interested in daughter Ann L.Wellman, have not been able to find any further information on her after that date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. --- Rae |

David 72 & Elizabeth 63, are residing in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan (Ward 5) in 1900 according to census MI, Bay, Bay City, ED35, Sht. 9B. With children, Richard, 46, Samuel, 14, Harry, 12, Josephine, 9, George, 6. Will look for Ann's marriage in Huron County next week as she was 19 in 1880 a good bet she was married soon after. |

My previous Reply should have said David's son,Richard, his spouse and Richard's children. I did not find a marriage for Ann L. in Huron County, so check Bay County. I did find a marriage of Mary Jane Wellman, age 30? or 20? on 6 May 1877 by a Jusice of the Peace to Frederick Snellengrasse, age 21. Both born in Canada and no parents given. (Vol. 1, page 54, No. 801 Huron County Marriage Records) |
