My name is on the Index of Names. Why isn't it on the Dynamic Tree?
The Index of Names contains all the names however remote their family links. As the tree is compiled of several different people's trees linked up there are many people who are not directly related to me. This made the Dynamic Tree very slow and unwealdy so I decided to limit it to my direct ancestors, their spouses and all their descendants only. You will not find your name on the tree unless you are my blood relation or spouse of my blood relation.

1.Enter your surname in the Filtered Index.
2.Click on your name.
3.Click on Change Owner.
The tree will now be coloured coded for you.
Blue=Owner.
Red=Ancestors and Descendants of Owner.
Green=Others genetically related to Owner (ie sharing a common ancestor).
Navy=Not genetically related to Owner.
